Warner made a final confession on Instagram in a video, revealing that his Baggy Green had been taken from his backpack. After Australia defeated Pakistan in the Boxing Day Test last week, the 37-year-old returned to his hometown of Sydney.
Warner disclosed that the backpack was pushed into a bigger bag along with the rest of the team’s belongings and flown on a Qantas flight from Melbourne to Sydney on December 31.

Warner appealed to the public to help him locate his baggy green, promising that the returner would face no repercussions. Even more, the seasoned opener offered to give the person his extra backpack.
Warner also disclosed that he contacted the airline and the hotel staff, but the CCTV footage shows no indication of anyone opening his backpack.

Australia named an unchanged lineup for Warner’s farewell match on Tuesday, choosing not to use a second spinner in the final Test match against Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
On the eve of Pakistan’s last Test match of their tour of Australia, which also happens to be opener Warner’s 112th and final Test, the pitch appeared well-grassed.
