Arvind Kejriwal To Be Arrested AAP Claims after ED raid.

According to sources, Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, will receive a new summons after his response is reviewed by lawyers of the Enforcement Directorate.

It was late at night on January 3 when Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj raised an alarm, saying that they had received information suggesting that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) would raid Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house on the next morning. There were concerns raised about the possibility of Kejriwal being arrested.

“There are rumors circulating that the ED will raid @ArvindKejriwal’s home tomorrow morning. Arrest probable,” Law and PWD Minister Atishi of Delhi wrote at 11:50 p.m. on January 3 on X. After posting the identical details in Hindi two minutes later, Delhi Health Minister Bharadwaj wrote, “Got to know ED will be reaching Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house tomorrow morning and is likely to arrest him.”

Following Kejriwal’s decision to cancel his third scheduled appointment with the ED on January 3, rumors circulated late at night characterizing the agency’s summons as “motivated”.

According to news agency ANI, the chief minister of Delhi is going to address the matter of the ED summons in relation to the liquor regulation case at a press conference on January 4 at noon.

The Delhi CM asserted that the summons were a ploy to keep him away from the campaign trail ahead of the parliamentary elections. He cited his engagement with the Rajya Sabha elections and his busy schedule overseeing preparations for Republic Day as reasons for not appearing before the agency.
