Shah Rukh Khan to Deols, Bollywood’s remarkable comeback in 2023

Shah Rukh Khan to Deols

Bollywood saw a stunning comeback in 2023 for several legendary stars, especially Shah Rukh Khan, who returned with two hits in a row, Pathaan and Jawan. The Deol brothers also achieved the biggest hits of the year simultaneously. In the meantime, 2023 is the year that Bollywood film makes its biggest comeback.

Shah Rukh’s “Pathaan” became a significant box-office success despite controversy and lived up to the huge expectations surrounding its release.

Shah Rukh Khan starred in Jawan, which appeared on Indian screens and went on to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2023, earning an incredible Rs 643.87 crore at the box office. This is their first joint project and a big hit film directed by Atlee Kumar.

The successful return of actor Sunny Deol was shown by the box office success of “Gadar 2,” which took in an impressive Rs 525.45 crore in India. Several Audiences felt more confident that the veteran stars would still have an audience thanks to the movie’s performance.

With Animal, the biggest hit of his career and one that brought in a total of Rs 470.58 crore, Ranbir Kapoor achieved a significant career milestone. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Salman Khan’s “Tiger 3” performed wonderfully, earning Rs 284.52 crore. However, Salman’s movie isn’t doing well at the box office, showing Animal’s continued dominance.

The controversial film The Kerala Story, which garnered a lot of attention and took in Rs 242.20 crore at the Indian box office, turned into an unexpected success story. The movie is still unavailable on OTT platforms, though.

Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which brought in Rs 153.60 crore, is another of the year’s biggest hits. “OMG 2,” starring Akshay Kumar, was released amid several controversies, but it was a box office success, earning Rs 150.17 crore. Audiences were captivated by Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Prabhas’ Adipurush, which together brought in Rs 135.04 crore.
